From the greater Boston area of Massachusetts, Zoe spent a lot of her childhood in the woods and developed a passion for the environment and animals. 

Zoe received her BA in Environmental Studies and English at Skidmore College, focusing on Polar Studies, Environmental Justice, and Environmental Education. Her passion for connecting others to nature has led her to work with children pre-K through eighth grade, as well as adults, as a watershed conservation educator, Waldorf school teacher, state park trail steward, and summer camp nature specialist. 

After spending much of her life in New England and upstate New York, Zoe was ready for a new adventure. She moved to San Diego in search of opportunities to continue her work in environmental education while wandering in a new landscape. Drawn to the region's year-round access to nature, she is excited to explore everything Southern California has to offer.

Some fun facts are that Zoe comes from a bilingual family and speaks French, and she loves music and has played the flute for 13 years. In her free time, she also enjoys poetry and science writing and finding new places to hike. She shares her home with Clementine, a very adventurous dwarf hamster.
