View fullsize Our Sunbeam friends learned more about how acorns and grass were used and still are today by the Kumeyaay Peoples. Acorns have been used to make flour and grass is woven into baskets. Today the children used a mortar and pestle to grind up the acorns

The children worked so hard making their badges. Building their fine motor skills and focus. They were so proud!
