Tsering (pronounced: SARE-ing) was born and raised in the Sonoran Desert where she grew up navigating the Sky Island Regions. Her educational upbringing was founded on her parents community based school where she spent most days exploring these diverse and unique ecosystems. 

While completing her Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies, and Social and

Environmental Justice at Prescott College, Tsering also began working in elementary classrooms of various age groups and many student backgrounds. She has spent time working in outdoor, traditional, and Montessori classrooms all with an emphasis in fostering curiosity. 

As a dedicated life long learner, Tsering has recently expanded her horizons in moving to San Diego, where she has settled into new circles of surfing, making music, and exploring the intertidal worlds.
